.NET 2.0 Release published

CARE Technologies is pleased to announce the new versions of the OLIVANOVA Transformation Engines for .NET 2.0:

  • OLIVANOVA Transformation Engine: New versions
    • OLIVANOVA Business Logic Transformation Engine Transactional C# 2.0 - Version 1.1.3.5
    • OLIVANOVA User Interface Transformation Engine C# 2. 0 - Version 1.2.3.5
    • OLIVANOVA User Interface Transformation Engine Web ASP.NET 2. 0 - Version 1.1.3.5

The new transformation engine leverages the following new features:

  • Population Preload in Filter Variables This feature allows selecting the instances of the object valuated filters variables that take part in a filter without changing of scenario and inside a subset of the population of the class. This new property in combination with navigational filtering will allow us to obtain scenarios that represent more intuitive filters and easy to use by the final user. The interaction with the application will be more agile and will eliminate the mistakes about selection of instances by the user.

  • Navigational Filtering in Filter Variables This feature allows additional ways of filtering data simplifying the use of the applications, and so the final user can interact with the application in a more effective way, thus increasing the productivity. It also allows other possibilities such as the selection of instances that satisfy the condition of the process to be executed, specified scenarios for certain processes and the information is showed in a better organised and structured way.

  • For ASP.NET 2.0: New Transformation Options
    • Menu Alignment: allows aligning the menu vertically or horizontally
    • Action Display: allows choosing the action buttons position in the scenario
    • Navigation Display: allows choosing the navigation buttons position in the scenario

ATTENTION

OLIVANOVA Modeler – Version 6.12.4.5.3.5, generates the xml using DTD 3.5 by default. Only the new transformation engines use that DTD version. If you would like to update the OLIVANOVA Modeler to the new version, and use other transformation engines, you must select a DTD previous versions (3.4, 3.3 or 3.2) (in that case the new features will not be generated).
