CARE Technologies is pleased to announce the new OLIVANOVA versions for:

• OLIVANOVA Modeler - Version v.6.14.4.5.3.5
• OLIVANOVA STAR Client - Version 3.0.4
• OLIVANOVA Comparator - Version 2.6

The new OLIVANOVA Modeler version leverages the following new features:

• Action pattern elements. In the Presentation Model, when adding an Interaction Unit to the Actions Pattern, the class or Global Service to which that IU belongs is indicated.
• Help Dialog (F2). OLIVANOVA Modeler shows the User Functions alphabetically ordered by name in F2 Help Dialog.

• OLIVANOVA Documentation Manager. OLIVANOVA Documentation Manager is no longer available from OLIVANOVA Modeler tools menu. OLIVANOVA Documentation Manager has been included in OLIVANOVA STAR as a new transformation engine, and it is necessary to send a request via OLIVANOVA STAR Client in order to obtain the documentation of a model. For more information about the profile and its configuration options see the OLIVANOVA Star Release Report.
• Read-only Agent. A new wizard has been added to the OLIVANOVA Modeler in order to create a read-only agent of the system. It is included in the Tools menu and in the classes contextual menu. With this new feature, a class will be agent of all the attributes and roles of the system.

The new OLIVANOVA STAR Client version leverages the following new features:

• Language support for ASP.Net 2.0 and C# 2.0 profiles.. These profiles include, in addition to English, Spanish and German, the Arabic language.
• New transformation options for ASP.Net 2.0 profile:
  • Menu Alignment: Allows aligning the menu vertically or horizontally.
  • Action Display: Allows choosing the action buttons position in the scenario.
  • Navigation Display: Allows choosing the navigation buttons position in the scenario.
  • Action Navigation Position: Allows defining the final placement of actions and navigations.
• New Transformation Profiles:
  • Business Logic Transformation Engine Transactional EJB2 Architecture JAVA Platform (BLT_TREJB2).
  • User Interface Transformation Engine JAVA Server Faces (UIT_JSF).
• OLIVANOVA Documentation Manager. This new profile has been included in the OLIVANOVA STAR Client in order to replace the OLIVANOVA Documentation Manager application.

The new OLIVANOVA Comparator version leverages the following new features:

• Update the tree control. In this new version all the elements relative to the Population Preload, Navigational Filtering and Conditional Filtering in the tree control have been included. This allows new user comparisons to be defined to include these elements in the comparison.
  • Population Preload: This property is defined in the inbound arguments both for local and global services and filter variable.
  • Navigational Filtering: This feature is defined in inbound arguments, filter variables, detail of Master - Detail pattern, action and navigation elements and the destination of the conditional navigational, but in this last place doesn't represent in tree control.
  • Conditional Navigation: It is applied in services interaction unit both for local and global services.

  

• Allowed multiple selection and Dependency rules. In this new version the properties allowed multiple selection and Dependency rules for inbound arguments of global services have been included.
